Worcester must wait until the last day of the season to discover if they will finish in the bottom three of the Blue Square South after Lewes lost to Bath.
Lewes had a chance to pull five points clear of City but they were beaten 2-1.
Worcester will have to beat visiting Eastleigh on Saturday and hope Lewes lose at Hampton & Richmond Borough.
Both sides could avoid relegation because of the demise of Chester City and Farsley Celtic and the possible demotion of Grays Athletic.
