Boston United joint-manager Paul Hurst insists the Pilgrims remain outsiders for the Unibond Premier Division title despite being top of the table.
They lead on goal difference after Wednesday's 5-1 win at Worksop, but rivals Guiseley and Bradford Park Avenue each have a game in hand.
Hurst told BBC Lincolnshire: "We're relying on others to do us a favour.
"But we've kept our end of the bargain. Promotion's still in our hands, whether automatic or through the play-offs."
With their title rivals dropping points earlier in the week, Hurst said: "They'll have been looking at this match and hoping we'd slip up.

"But 5-1 sends out the message that we clearly haven't and it was another good performance so it just keeps that pressure on."
Boston's final league matches are at home to FC United of Manchester and away at Marine, followed possibly by a play-off semi-final and final.
Hurst added: "All we can do is win our games and the lads are doing that at the minute.
"I think they've realised how close we are to the prize. The title's not in our hands but if we stay unbeaten to the end of the season we will go up."
