Non League

Maidstone gave themselves a chance of staying in the Ryman Premier with a 2-0 win over Waltham Abbey.

Goals from James Peacock and Antonio Gonnella helped the Stones to their first win in 11 games.

They even survived having former QPR player Jermaine Darlington sent off for violent conduct shortly after the half-time break.

Elsewhere Folkestone lost 1-0 at home to Whyteleafe to remain second in Ryman Division One South.

But leaders Croydon Athletic only drew so Folkestone are five points behind Croydon with a game in hand.

The pair are also still to meet each other.

Whitstable Town came from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 with Worthing to move out of the Ryman South relegation zone. Ian Pullman scored twice.

Faversham Town could win the Kent League title on Wednesday night. Faversham beat Sevenoaks Town 1-0 which means they will be crowned champions if Herne Bay fail to beat Lordswood.

Sittingbourne are one game away from winning the Kent Senior Cup for the first time in 52 years. They won through to the Kent Senior Cup final after beating Cray Wanderers on penalties after a 1-1 draw. They will meet either Folkestone Invicta or Welling United in the final.
