Redditch United are still not clear of relegation danger in the Blue Square North after defeat away at Alfreton.
Liam Hearn gave the home side the lead after 16 minutes but Town were then made to work hard for their win.
Redditch held out until the 77th minute when Anthony Howell doubled the Alfreton lead.
TJ Nightingale scored Alfreton's third in the final minute, with Redditch's misery being compounded when Asa Charlton was sent off.
