Telford still in with chance of play-offs, says Smith

Telford boss Rob Smith says the play-offs are still a possibility

AFC Telford United boss Rob Smith said his side still have an outside chance of reaching the play-offs as results continue to go their way.

Rivals Stalybridge lost 3-2 against Fleetwood on Thursday and Smith said they still could make it.

"There's still 18 points to play for," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.

"I still think there's a twist in the tale. But we need to start wining our games and the match against Hyde is a must win match."

Telford play Hyde at the New Bucks Head on Saturday with a fully fit squad, although defender Lee Vaughan and winger Sean Evans are both suspended.

The Bucks have not won in their last six league games, leaving them seventh in the Blue Square North and three points off the play-offs.
