Boston United striker Danny Davidson has hailed his team's spirit after they recorded their ninth consecutive win - their best run since 1966.
The Pilgrims' 5-0 home UniBond Premier win over Nantwich on Saturday was their 12th victory in 13 games.
Davidson, who scored a goal in the match, told BBC Lincolnshire: "We're a close-knit bunch.
"Winning breeds confidence and we're now going into games expecting to go and win."
Boston's other scorers were Marc Newsham, Spencer Weir-Daley, Danny Sleath and Mikel Suarez.
Davidson says the Pilgrims' spirit is proving a big help in their good form.
"You look around the changing rooms and you look at the players next to you and you know they're going to go out and do a job for the team.
"Even those who are on the bench you know are going to come on and give their all," he explained.
Boston are second in the league, a point behind Bradford Park Avenue although the leaders have two games in hand.
