AFC Telford midfielder Kevin O'Connor strains hamstring
O'Connor ended his career at Wolves with a nerve ending problem
AFC Telford midfielder Kevin O'Connor strained his hamstring playing against his former club Wolves in a friendly match on Tuesday night.
Telford beat a strong Wolves reserves side 4-0 after their Blue Square North fixture against crisis club Farsley Celtic was called off.
The former Wolves man limped off as a precaution during the second half.
"It's a slight strain but he should be ok," assistant manager Larry Chambers told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"He's getting better with every game he plays, you can see that he's a quality footballer who has played in the Championship. He has settled in well and we're delighted with how things are going."
It was O'Connor's second start of the season after returning to football 18 months on from being forced to retire from the professional game with a nerve problem.
Danny Carey-Bertram opened the scoring with a 20- yard strike. The Bucks then doubled their lead through Sean Evans.
Striker Andy Brown came on as a second-half substitute and scored two goals towards the end of the game to seal the win.
The Bucks are still waiting to hear the outcome of Farsley's bid to prevent the club going out of business.
If they fail, then other clubs may lose their points they picked up against the Yorkshire side.
