Rob Smith 'embarrassed' by AFC Telford United loss
Blyth took the lead through Ian Graham
AFC Telford manager Rob Smith said his players should be "embarrassed" after losing 4-0 against Blyth Spartans.
Blyth took the lead on Saturday through Ian Graham after 16 minutes and doubled their lead with a Paul Brayson free-kick on the stroke of half-time.
Graham scored his second midway through the second half and Brayson made it four by chipping the keeper.
"They've embarrassed me and the fans who travelled here," manager Rob Smith told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"I've signed all of those players and it was just a shocking performance. Mistakes are costing us.
"There are no excuses, the players should publically apologise to the fans for that. We need to get back to winning ways against Farsley Celtic on Tuesday night," Smith added.
A win for Telford would have taken them into the play-off places for the first time this year, but they remain one point off the play-offs having played more games than the teams around them.
