A first-half goal from Craig Wilding gave Worcester City three vital points in their bid for survival in the Blue Square South relegation battle.
Wilding struck 12 minutes before half-time, as Worcester kept a clean sheet for the first time since December 28.
Worcester included Tom Beahon, who joined from the Glenn Hoddle Academy.
City's caretaker manager Carl Heeley told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "It was great to see us defend properly for 90 minutes."

Heeley added: "We were the more convincing, we hit the post, hit the crossbar and their keeper has pulled of a great save.
"We gave ourselves a springboard against Lewes and we had to build on that, that is a big gap, five points, and the pressure is back on Lewes.
"I thought Craig (Wilding) and Matt Dinsmore worked so hard up front and it was good to see Craig getting his reward."
However the match was watched by a crowd of just 501 people, Worcester's lowest league attendance of the season.
