Nuneaton Town booked their place in the last eight of the Birmingham Senior Cup with a 3-2 win over Banbury United at Liberty Way.
Boro won the league match between the two sides 5-0 the previous Friday and it had looked like a similar result was on the cards.
Michael Jacobs and Eddie Nisevic both scored in the opening 10 minutes only for the home side to be pegged back.
Paul Spacey clinched the tie to set up a quarter-final against Leamington.
