Harry Arter says he has unfinished business at Woking

Woking

Woking midfielder Harry Arter says he is happy to be staying at the club after recent transfer rumours.

The 20-year-old was linked with a move to League One side Swindon during the January transfer window.

He told BBC Surrey: "Nothing has come up in the window, and as far as I know nothing's going to come up between now and the end of the season.

I'm happy to stay, they gave me a good opportunity at the start of the season. I'd like to finish what we started."

He added: "I feel I'm good enough to go to a higher level and there's no rush.

"I went up to Swindon in December and it was a bit in limbo whether I was going to stay or not. Nothing got sorted out up there and I think they said they might do something in the summer.

"I'm happy to stay here, it probably works out best for me and the club that I stay here and hopefully push for promotion with the club."
