Woking striker Giuseppe Sole has said that the Cards are still able to catch Newport County at the top of the Blue Square South.
Second-placed Woking currently lie 14 points behind County, who have a game in hand.
But Sole told BBC Surrey: "You've heard of teams throwing it away.
"There's word going round town that there's a buzz about Woking again. We all feel we've got the squad to do it and we'll see in April."
The Cards defeated Havant & Waterlooville 2-0 on New Year's Day in front of 1703 fans, the second largest crowd at Kingfield this season.
"It's good to win in front of a big crowd," Sole added.
"Hopefully it will attract more and more fans."
Sole netted Woking's second goal in the win over the Hawks - his 50th goal for the club.
"I'm very proud to score 50 goals for Woking," said Sole. "I was very surprised to learn it was 50 because I had no idea."
