Worcester City v Grays Athletic in the FA Trophy

Worcester City boss Richard Dryden
Dryden is aware of the financial benefits of a good run in the FA Trophy

Worcester City will be without Matt Birley who is suspended for their first round FA Trophy game against Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic.

On-loan striker Danny Carey-Bertram will also be unavailable because he is cup-tied.

Manager Richard Dryden told BBC Hereford and Worcester he is hoping for a good result at St. Georges Lane.

"The longer we stay in the trophy, hopefully it will breed more confidence and enhance our league form," he said.

"For the playing side of it, it will be great and will put us into the last 32 if we get through.

"In the bigger picture, the club need money and if the only revenue coming in is through the gate and prize money, we're desperate to get money in."
