The future of King's Lynn is uncertain, with their weekend game postponed
All eyes will be on developments at The Walks over what will be a few crucial days for King's Lynn Football Club.
By the middle of the week we will know for sure if the club, in its present guise, will still be in existence or if it will disband and presumably start again next season in a lower league.
Encouragingly, it appears that there have been constructive talks with potential investors but it's difficult to predict which way it will go. We can only keep our fingers crossed.
In stark contrast to events in the west of the county, Lowestoft Town are enjoying life to the full.
The Blues smashed Leyton 8-0 at Crown Meadow on Saturday and are sitting in a very healthy second place in Ryman Division One North. Former Linnet Matt Nolan hit a hat-trick to continue his good form and collectively they are a very strong unit at that level.
In the Ridgeons First Divison, Gorleston secured an important victory over fellow promotion hopefuls Diss Town.
Spectators at Emerald Park saw a really open and enjoyable game, with the Greens winning 1-0 courtesy of a first-half strike from Mitch Forbes.
Credit must also go to both goalkeepers. Gorleston's Elliott Pride and Matt Webster for the Tangerines were in fine form to ensure there was only the one goal.
The result moves Gorleston up to fifth while Great Yarmouth Town still head the table despite their game at Saffron Walden Town being called off due to a gas leak.
In the Ridgeons Premier, Dereham Town recorded a welcome win at Aldiss Park. The Magpies beat Felixstowe 4-0 on a day that saw a number of former Dereham players turn up for a reunion as part of the club's 125 year anniversary celebrations.
Unfortunately there were defeats for Wroxham, Norwich United and Kirkley and Pakefield.
