Worcester City's loan striker Marvin Brown is determined to pay back fans who contributed to the fund needed to bring him to St George's Lane.
Brown joined from Weston-super-Mare and scored on his debut in a 4-1 Blue Square South defeat at Eastleigh.
"You just want to show what you can do and I feel that I have added pressure with the fans paying towards my wages," Brown said.
"I'd like to thank those fans who paid the extra to make the loan possible."
Brown became the second Weston-super-Mare player to move to Worcester City in a week, following manager Richard Dryden's decision to sign Marc McGregor.
Despite the links between the two strikers, Brown told BBC Hereford and Worcester that McGregor's move had not been a decisive factor in his decision to head to St George's Lane.
I don't want to come here and be selfish and try and get goals and not perform for the team

"I spoke to him about it and he told me a little bit more about the club," Brown said.
"I wasn't 100% sure but once I made my mind up about going out on loan this was the first place I wanted to come.
"There were other clubs interested but I have spoken to Richard Dryden a few times about coming up over the last couple of years but it has never actually happened," he added.
"But since I have been here, he has been quality and the lads have been really good which has made it really easy for me to come in," he said.
Brown admits that part of the reason for his decision to go out on loan is because he wants to kick-start his season, but he also wants to contribute to the team.
"Last week was obviously good on a personal note as I got on to the score sheet," he said.
"But I don't want to come here and be selfish and try and get goals and not perform for the team. I just want to give 100% and hopefully my form will come," he added.
Worcester City head to Dorchester Town on Saturday, 14 November in the Blue Square South. Coverage of the game can be found in Sport on Saturday from 1400 GMT on BBC Hereford and Worcester.
