Gill is relishing the chance to cause an upset at Kettering
Redditch United defender Jerry Gill says his team are capable of causing an FA Cup shock at Kettering Town.
The former Birmingham and Cheltenham player is expecting a tough fourth qualifying round tie.
But he told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "We've got the belief and have been improving in recent weeks and it's a nice break from the league.
"It's a one-off game and we could be in the next round and looking forward to getting a League team."
He added: "Whatever stage of the competition you are involved in it is great for the players, management and the whole club.
"A lot of hard work has gone into it to get us to this stage and Kettering will be a tough tie. But if we go there and enough of us turn up on the day then we have got a chance of getting a result."
Kettering are currently in third place in the Blue Square Premier and have lost only once at home this season.
Redditch, on the other hand, are one place off the foot of the Blue Square North table and have lost five of their six away league games.
But for Redditch to go and get a result at Kettering wouldn't be the biggest surprise ever, so who knows?
Reds boss Gary Whild
Reds manager Gary Whild is under no illusions of the size of the task facing his squad.
"We are massive underdogs and rightly so but we have got nothing to lose," he said.
"But for Redditch to go and get a result at Kettering wouldn't be the biggest surprise ever, so who knows?"
The Reds will go into the match without defender Jamie Oliver, who is cup-tied having previously played in the competition this season for his former club King's Lynn.
There will be coverage of Redditch United's trip to Kettering Town as part of Sport on Saturday from 1400 BST on BBC Hereford & Worcester.
