Worcester City substitute Louis Bridges hit a last-minute equaliser to earn his side a point at Hampton & Richmond.
In a game of two red cards, City looked to be heading for defeat at the Beveree when Bridges popped up to net the late equaliser his side probably deserved.
"When you are 2-1 down with a minute left of normal time I think any manager would take a point," boss Richard Dryden told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"Again, Louis has come off the bench and he has affected the game."
In a stormy Blue Square South game City got off to the worst possible start when experienced defender Wayne Daniel miscued an attempted clearance past his own keeper after only three minutes.
But City were handed a lifeline two minutes after the break when striker Marco Adaggio was brought down by home defender Orlando Jeffrey.
The referee deemed Jeffrey's challenge merited a straight red card, Adaggio doubling Hampton's woes by scoring from the spot.
Despite being a man down, Hampton went back in front on 65 minutes when Michael Lee Charles turned home David Tarpey's free-kick.
City were then reduced to 10 men themselves when striker Rob Elvins was dismissed for a bad challenge, but Bridges' late equaliser stopped them tumbling into the bottom three.
"The goals we conceded were poor," said Dryden. "The first one we just turned off when they took a quick free-kick, which was bad enough.
"Then they are down to 10 men and we switch off at a set play.
"We created a lot of chances and it's the same old story, missing good opportunities.
"But we've put the penalty away and again Louis has come off the bench and that is now three goals he has scored.
"He keeps pushing for a place but you've got to take him out and rest him as he's only a young lad."
