Heeley believes strong defence will help against Hampton and Richmond
Worcester City coach Carl Heeley hopes they can cope with Hampton & Richmond's direct approach in Saturday's Blue Square South test in south-west London.
This style has worked well in the past for Alan Devonshire's Beavers and Heeley is expecting a tough game.
"It was successful for them last season when they went into the play-offs where they were maybe a little unfortunate," Heeley told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"And I don't expect them to be vastly different this season."
Heeley was a fan of Devonshire in his West Ham United (and England) days and admits he expected more of a passing style from his team.
"It is quite surprising they are a very direct side as their manager was very comfortable on the ball," he added.
"If they are direct I think that will suit us as we are very strong defensively, so I would expect us to be able to deal with that comfortably.
"We need points so we need a run of games to start climbing up the table."
Worcester currently stand in 19th, just two points and a place away from relegation trouble. And they are in need of a lift after drawing at Telford United in the FA Cup third qualifying round last weekend, only to then lose the replay on Monday night at St George's Lane.
"We weren't clinical enough," said Heeley. "And, if you look over the two games that it the reason why they've gone through and we haven't.
"Without being disrespectful to our boys they have got a little bit more quality and, if they had created the clear-cut chances we did, they would have scored them.
"We don't score enough goals but it is no secret that the sort of quality that scores you lots of goals costs lots of money."
