Irishman O'Hare has played his entire senior career in England
Gainsborough Trinity have signed York City defender Alan O'Hare on a one-month loan deal.
The former Chesterfield and Mansfield defender, 27, joined the Blue Square Premier side in the summer but has yet to make a first-team appearance.
Trinity manager Brian Little said: "He's an experienced campaigner and he's left-footed so he gives us a bit of variation and balance at the back.
"We have looked a bit fragile at the back on occasions."
Trinity have conceded 25 goals in 11 games in Blue Square North this season.
O'Hare made more than 150 Football League appearances for Chesterfield before moving to Mansfield in 2008 where he played alongside Trinity defender Adie Moses.
