Danny Carey-Bertram celebrates scoring his first goal of the season
Telford striker Danny Carey-Bertram has said that he was relieved to score his first goal of the season in Saturday's FA Cup win over Pegasus Juniors.
Carey-Bertram netted the Bucks' second goal in a 4-1 win that sees them advance to the third qualifying round.
"It's been frustrating but I'm relieved to get my first goal," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"The boys and the management have shown a lot of faith in me and I'm thankful for that."
Carey-Bertram's tap-in shortly after half time came after Anthony Robbins' own goal had given the Blue Square North side the lead.
Andy Brown hit Telford's third in the 72nd minute before Pegasus pulled one back, with Steve Torpey completing the scoring in the last minute.
Meanwhile, Telford have extended the loan spell of Barrow left-back Shaun Newton for another month, with manager Rob Smith hinting that another new signing could be set to arrive at the New Buck's Head.
