Gill joins the Reds after a long career in the Football League
Blue Square North strugglers Redditch United have signed experienced defender Jerry Gill.
The ex-Birmingham, Northampton and Yeovil player was with League One side Cheltenham until the end of last season and had a loan spell at Forest Green.
The 39-year-old was shortlisted for management jobs at Forest Green and Cambridge United during the summer.
Gill is likely to go straight into the Reds squad for the home match against Workington on Saturday, 19 September.
