Newsham is Boston's leading scorer this season with five goals
Boston United conceded an equaliser deep in added time as they drew 2-2 at Bradford Park Avenue in the Unibond Premier Division on Monday.
Marc Newsham's 30th-minute opener gave the Pilgrims a half-time lead but Simon Baldry levelled in the 54th minute.
Newsham restored the lead two minutes later with another close-range effort.
But Boston could not add a third and were made to pay when Luke Gibson struck in the 93rd minute to deny them a fourth away win of the season.
Boston joint-manager Paul Hurst told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "It's disappointing not to get three points but we're certainly not disappointed with the performance.
"I thought the lads were outstanding in their commitment, effort and application and they stuck to the game-plan in conditions which weren't conducive to a passing game.
"You don't always get what you deserve over the 90 minutes but if they keep putting that in then we'll come away with three points more often than not."
