Trinity challenge excites Little

Brian Little
Little's managerial career spans more than 800 games

Gainsborough Trinity's new manager Brian Little says he is excited by the challenge of working at the Blue Square North club and taking them forward.

The former Aston Villa boss officially took charge on Monday after being appointed by chairman Peter Swann.

Little said: "When I met Peter I decided this was the sort of challenge I wanted to take up.

"We'll take it one step at a time, try to get out of this league and see where we go from there."

He added: "I've tried all sorts of things in my career. I have to say one or two things have beaten me but in most cases I've come through my challenges fairly well so I'm looking forward to hopefully doing well here."
