Cotton made three appearances for Boston in his first spell at York Street
Boston United have completed the signing of Dan Cotton from Unibond First Division South club Stamford.
The winger, 21, is returning to the Pilgrims, having played for them in their final Football League season.
Joint-manager Rob Scott told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "Hopefully he'll give us a bit of a spark in the last third which maybe we've been lacking."
Cotton goes straight into Boston's squad for Tuesday's Unibond Premier Division match at Frickley Athletic.
On Saturday the Pilgrims were held to a goalless draw by Kendal Town in their first home game of the season.
In the Unibond First Division South Grantham Town slipped to a second consecutive home defeat, losing 2-0 to Sheffield FC at the Meres.
