Dryden is working on a reduced budget at Worcester
Worcester City manager Richard Dryden admits his team's league form is a concern, but says things are improving for the Blue Square South side.
City have managed only one point from four games so far, but Dryden told BBC Hereford and Worcester that he believes their fortunes are about to change.
"It is starting to bug me, as I think the squad is good enough," he said.
"But there is no reason why, if we win this week at Weymouth, we cannot go on a little run."
He added: "I will start looking at the league tables after seven or eight games, a week is a long time in football.
"The last two performances have been heartening, not just because we created chances but the team spirit is there.
Weymouth have conceded eleven goals in two home games, but Dryden says he is not fooled by those results.
"They have taken some beatings but three or four new players started for them in midweek. They went to Maidenhead and got a point which is no mean feat," he said.
"If we think we are going to go down and beat them by five or six that's not going to happen.
"It is an early start, we are leaving at 8-30 and that is a long day. It's not just for a pre-match meal but to make sure we can avoid the holiday traffic."
Defender Shabir Khan is still missing with injury, so Alfie Carter looks likely to play his second game for the club, while Graham Ward is expected to return at right back.
