Truro went down to their first defeat of their maiden season in the Southern Premier League on Saturday, losing at home to Farnborough.
Truro's goals came courtesy of new signing Santos Gaia and Andy Watkins, but the White Tigers ended the match with nine players.
Danny Clay and Jake Ash were both sent off, but Truro manager Sean McCarthy remained upbeat at the final whistle.
He said: "Apart from the red cards I'm delighted with what we've shown today."
"We've got a great bunch of lads in there and the team spirit is fantastic."
"They won't stop running and won't stop working and that's what we're all about," McCarthy told BBC Cornwall.
The defeat by Farnborough comes of the back of two victories for Truro, against both Bedford and Merthyr Tydfil.
McCarthy added: "At the end of the day we've had a good start, we've won two games and we've lost a game, so I'm not too disappointed, especially considering the attitude that the players have shown."
Truro are next in action on Wednesday, with an away fixture against Swindon Supermarine.
