Blue Square South side Worcester City have signed striker Alfie Carter on non-contract terms.
The 29-year-old has been coaching in the United States since being released by Welsh Premier side The New Saints at the end of last season.
Carter started his career as a trainee at Walsall where he made three Football League appearances before moving to Bromsgrove Rovers in October 2000.
He has since played for Newport County, Stafford Rangers and AFC Telford Utd.
