Dryden left to play waiting game

Worcester City boss Richard Dryden says he has a shopping list of players he wants to sign, but many are deciding to wait before committing their future.

City signed Wayne Daniel earlier this month, but the Worcester boss has since been unable to add to his squad.

Dryden told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "It is frustrating because although there are a lot of players out there, they are not yet wanting to commit.

"People are waiting to see if they get better deals elsewhere."

City return to training on Thursday, 2 July and then face Stafford a fortnight later.

Dryden believes he will still be building his squad when they play that first friendly.

"We've got four or five training sessions to get through before then and I expect I will have a few trialists in to have a look at," he added.
