Unibond Premier side Nantwich Town will not be rushed into appointing a new manager, reports BBC Radio Stoke.
The Dabbers have been left without a manager after Steve Davis accepted the offer to become Gudjon Thordarson's number two at Crewe Alexandra.
Chairman Clive Jackson said: "We are pleased with the interest that has been shown in the job, but we are in no hurry to make a hasty decision."
Davis left the club in their highest ever position.
