Taylor eyes six more world titles

Phil Taylor
Taylor has won 14 world titles so far

Newcastle-under-Lyme's Phil Taylor wants to win 20 world titles before he retires from the sport.

The 48-year-old, who lost his Premier League crown last month, is aiming for his 15th crown later this year in the sport's first £1m tournament.

He said: "I've become more ambitious, I want 20 world titles, because then I can retire with a record that will never ever be beaten."

Taylor plays next in the Desert Classic in Las Vegas that starts on 30 June.
