Kings Lynn's new manager Carl Heggs has signed two more players as the Linnets look to climb back to the Blue Square North following their relegation.

Striker Gareth Sheldon, 29, is joining the Norfolk side from Conference North champions Tamworth.

Sheldon scored 23 goals last season and has previously played at Scunthorpe, Exeter, Kidderminster and Hereford.

Lynn have also signed 23-year-old midfielder Callum Lloyd from Hinckley United, who also played at Kettering.

Heggs has signed a total of seven new players since taking over at The Walks after just one player, Andy Johnson, was offered a new contract for next season.

The Linnets are looking for immediate promotion from the Unibond North after the Football Conference imposed relegation on them last month because their ground failed to meet ground-grading requirements.
