Semple played league football for Peterborough, Lincoln and Chester
Gainsborough Trinity have completed the signing of former Lincoln City and Peterborough United winger Ryan Semple.
Semple, 23, spent last season at Deeping Rangers where he was the United Counties League Premier Division's joint top scorer with 30 goals.
Trinity boss Steve Charles told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "We've watched Ryan for a while and seen his potential.
"He's a good crosser, he's got an eye for goal and he's worth giving a chance to prove himself at our level."
Semple began as a trainee at Peterborough and joined Lincoln in July 2006 as a makeweight in the deal which saw striker Simon Yeo move from Sincil Bank to London Road.
But he made only four substitute appearances for the Imps before being released just over a year later and going into non-league football.
