Gainsborough Trinity have made three new signings with Wes Parker, Adie Moses and James Hunt all joining the Blue Square North club.
Defender Parker returns after a year at with Boston, midfielder Hunt was released by Grimsby and defender Moses spent last season at Mansfield.
Trinity chairman Peter Swann told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "It was apparent last year that we lacked experience.
"We feel we've got that in James and Adie while Wes knows the club well."
Swann added: "It's nice that we can get these signings sorted out early on.
"There's still a long way to go but it's a good start, they're the players we wanted and I'm excited about the season ahead."
Trinity have now signed five new players since the end of last season, the others being ex-Harrogate town duo, defender Ryan Toulson and midfielder Darren Dunning.
