Aspin has spent eight years at Harrogate as a player and manager
Blue Square North outfit Harrogate Town have issued a statement thanking manager Neil Aspin for his commitment to the club during his time in charge.
Aspin will step down after the final game of the season at Gainsborough Trinity on Saturday.
"Neil has been a good servant to the club," said the statement.
"The chairman and board of directors would like to thank him for all his hard work and commitment in helping put Harrogate Town on the footballing map."
The former Port Vale defender joined Harrogate as a played in 2001.
He left in 2004 but returned midway through their first season in Blue Square North in 2004/05, taking over as manager from John Reed.
Chairman Bill Fotherby added: "We wish Neil all the best for the future and we are sure that if he gives the same commitment to his next club as he has done to Harrogate Town, then he will be a great success."
Fotherby added that Aspin would be welcome back to Harrogate Town at any time and in whatever capacity.
