Andy Brown is AFC Telford's top scorer this season

Andy Brown hit both goals as AFC Telford United recorded a comfortable 2-0 win against play-off rivals Droylsden at the New Bucks Head.

Telford, playing their fourth match in eight days, took the lead just before the half hour.

And Brown got his second four minutes after the break to wrap up the points.

"I thought we played some good stuff at times after a tough week," Assistant manager Larry Chambers told BBC Radio Shropshire.

"It was more about picking up three points than performance."

Telford now face successive games on the road up north.

They are in action again on Tuesday night when they head for Farsley Celtic (31 March, 1945 GMT) before Saturday's trip to Gainsborough Trinity (4 April, 1500 GMT).
