Trainer has scored four goals since joining from Oxford in January
On-loan midfielder Phil Trainer scored both goals as Telford beat Blue Square North play-off contenders Hinckley 2-0.
Trainer forced home his first through a crowd of players on 40 minutes in Monday night's clash.
The Bucks defence had to hold firm in the second half as Hinckley pressed for an equaliser before Trainer doubled the visitors' lead just before full-time.
Telford, who are fourth, are now seven points clear of sixth-placed Alfreton with ten games left to play.
After the game Bucks boss Rob Smith said he was impressed with Trainer's performance.
"I've known for a long time what he can do and tonight he was excellent," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"That was a big win, the conditions were horrendous but the result was all important.
"We've had a tough time of late but I felt we showed some steel again."
