Workington Reds were comprehensively beaten 3-0 by play-off hopefuls Alfreton Town at Borough Park in Blue Square North on Saturday.
Reds' preparations were not helped when defender Dean Gordon travelled to the wrong stadium prior to the game.
Defender Anton Brown gave the visitors a first-half lead on 40 minutes.
And in the second half Liam Hearn netted the second on 56 minutes, before Paul Clayton converted a spot kick he earned himself to seal the win.
