Edmondson is hoping to extend Andy Cook's loan deal from Carlisle
Workington manager Darren Edmondson has called on supporters to get behind his team for the remainder of the season.
The Reds are unbeaten in four games after Tuesday's 0-0 draw at Stafford and lie 13th in the Blue Square North.
But Edmondson was disappointed with the fans' reaction after Saturday's 2-2 draw with Hyde and he told BBC Radio Cumbria: "People must back this team.
"I know it's difficult as fans pay lots of money but if you take stock of this team I don't think you can knock them."
Workington host play-off chasing Hinckley on Saturday and Edmondson is determined to put on a show.
"All those fans that went away disappointed on Saturday, come back this weekend and we'll try and put a performance on that justifies your entrance fee," he said.
Hopefully Cook can come and join us for another month but that's out of my hands

"Because of the way we played in the last two away games, when we got into the dressing room after Saturday's game at Hyde it felt like we'd got beat.
"I understand what the fans are saying that it's tough times but that's now four unbeaten and there aren't many sides in this league who do that."
Edmondson will continue talks with Carlisle boss Greg Abbott this week in an attempt to extend Andy Cook's loan stay at Borough Park.
The 18-year-old striker played the final game of his one-month lean deal in Tuesday's draw at Stafford.
"I'll be speaking to Greg on Thursday or Friday about the possibility of what we can do with him and Greg will also have a chat with Andy to get his thoughts on it," Edmondson said.
"This has been a tough month for him. He's been shoved into a tough league and he's helped us out.
"It's hard for him but he's done well. Hopefully he can come and join us for another month but that's out of my hands and we'll have to deal with that when we know what's happening."
