Dover Athletic remain 17 points clear at the top of the Ryman Premier League after their 2-1 win over Canvey Island on Saturday.

The result means that Athletic are just seven wins away from their second successive promotion.

Manager Andy Hessenthaler told BBC Radio Kent: "If we can have a day like that and grind out three points it tells you what type of team we are.

"We were fortunate, but we'll take it and move on."

Lee Browning and Jerahl Hughes scored the goals for Dover.

Other Kent winners were Dartford, Ramsgate, Tonbridge, Cray, Chatham and Thamesmead Town.

Tonbridge remain third in the Ryman Premier Division after beating Boreham Wood.

The 2-0 win means they have a seven-point cushion in the top three.

Tonbridge manager Tommy Warrilow said: "We just had to be patient, Boreham Wood are a decent team but we got our just rewards at the end."

Meanwhile, Rob Howarth scored twice in sixth-placed Dartford's 3-1 victory at home to Tooting.

"I'm delighted by the result, particularly after the defeat last week. The attitude and the response from the players was excellent," said Dartford manager Tony Burman.

Ramsgate's win over Billericay Town takes them out of the relegation zone with Margate replacing them after they lost to Wealdstone.

Cray Wanderers are joint top of Ryman South after beating Worthing 2-1.

The result gives Cray their fourth straight win, but fellow leaders Kingstonian have two games in hand.

Elsewhere, Ashford Town went down 5-1 to Croydon Athletic to record their third successive defeat.

Chatham Town recovered from 2-0 down to win 4-3 at bottom side Hillingdon in Ryman North.

And Hythe Town are the new leaders of the Kent League following their 3-0 win over Slade Green.
