Rock-bottom Luton took their points tally into double figures but were left frustrated after being held to a goalless draw by Gillingham.
The Hatters had the best of the chances in a scrappy affair, with Tom Craddock going closest when he shot onto a post.
Gillingham's best effort came just 15 seconds later when Mark McCammon just failed to meet Nicky Southall's cross.
But Luton dominated after that, only for Simon Royce to deny Ian Henderson to ensure Gillingham held on.
