Saltash United and Wadebridge Town finally played their third round tie in the Throgmorton Cup on Tuesday, after 11 postponements.

Saltash won 2-1 away to reach the quarter-finals and set up a match against local rivals Ivybridge Town.

It was goalless in the first half before the Ashes took a 47th-minute lead through Marc Thorne.

The hosts drew level through Aidan Dodd but Thorne struck again for Saltash's winner three minutes from time.
