Buckland face tough Saltash test

Second-placed Buckland Athletic will have their SWPL title credentials tested at sixth-placed Saltash United on Saturday.

The Ashes are 13 points behind Buckland but have five games in hand on their opponents at the Kimberley Stadium.

Leaders Bodmin Town host fourth bottom Newton Abbot Spurs as they aim to stay top of the table.

Third-placed Plymouth Parkway have what could be a tricky away tie at mid-table Clyst Rovers.

Fourth-placed Ivybridge Town, who have slipped following a raft of postponements, face third-from-bottom Holsworthy.

With bottom side Elburton Villa not having a game it is a great opportunity for Holsworthy to pull clear, along with second-from-bottom Liskeard Athletic, who host fifth-placed Tavistock.

Fifth-from-bottom Falmouth Town will hope to move into a safer position with a win when they travel east to Torpoint Athletic, whilee there are mid-table clashes at Launceston, who host St Blazey and Witheridge, who entertain Cullompton Rangers.

The day's other game sees tenth-placed Wadebridge Town go to seventh-placed Dartmouth.
