Whild was unhappy with his captain Lee Downes for getting sent off
Redditch United manager Gary Whild has questioned his players' commitment after their 5-0 thrashing by Forest Green in the FA Trophy on Sunday.
The game was hastily re-arranged after being called off on Saturday with the New Lawn pitch frozen, and the Reds were behind within two minutes.
Whild told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "It didn't seem as though some of them wanted it from the sidelines.
"There are certain things you see today and you have to make a decision."
He continued: "You speak all week about starting the game well and then we concede a goal starting from our own corner.
It's not good enough to get two yellows, first from a scuffle, and then a nailed-on yellow card, and the captain's gone

"We then spent the majority of the game on the back foot."
Whild admits Forest Green were far batter than his side but he gave little thought to the way they played.
"I was more interested in us today, as the way we planned to set up there was a good chance we could get something.
"But we were on the back foot from the start, and it looked ragged and unprofessional in the end."
The Reds manager was was also unhappy with the way captain Lee Downes got himself sent off.
"It's not good enough to get two yellows, first from a scuffle, and then a nailed-on yellow card, and the captain's gone and with an inexperienced [defence] it's backs to the wall."
Redditch have no game next Saturday and are next in action on Saturday, 24 January against Droylsden.
