There was no action at all on Saturday for the two counties' leading teams
The heavy frost wiped out the entire sporting programme in the two counties, with Hereford United's League One game at Scunthorpe United the last to go.
The match at Glanford Park was called off shortly before 1300 GMT when the match referee made his inspection.
Also off were the FA Trophy ties between Ilkeston and Kidderminster Harriers and Forest Green and Redditch.
Forest Green officials hope to play the match against Redditch on Sunday, but this is subject to a pitch inspection.
Ilkeston Town and Kidderminster Harriers are now scheduled to play their Trophy tie on Tuesday 13 January when the kick off will be at 1945 GMT.
BBC Hereford and Worcester's reporter Keith Hall had arrived at Glanford Park for the Scunthorpe versus Hereford game, but he felt the referee had no option other than to call off the match.
"They've worked tremendously hard here to try and get the game on, but one of the frost sheets on the bottom side of the ground has lifted," he said.
"Apparently, that is where the frost has really penetrated.
"It is quite hard underfoot especially on that one strip and I think the referee has probably made the right decision, albeit a bit late," he added.
Worcester City's Blue Square South match at home to Maidenhead United was among the early-morning casualties after a pitch inspection at St George's Lane ruled that one out.
All four Southern League matches involving local clubs were called off, as were the Midlands One rugby matches involving Luctonians and Malvern.
Worcester Warriors' Guinness Premiership match at Harlequins was called off on Friday following a pitch inspection at The Stoop.
