Banbury manager Kieran Sullivan has said his team need to show some consistency if they are to avoid being dragged into a relegation dog-fight.
The Puritans are third-from-bottom in the Southern League Premier after their derby 3-0 defeat at Oxford City.
"That is us in a nutshell, we perform well one week but not the next," Sullivan told BBC Oxford.
"Finding that consistency level is what makes good sides. On our day we can beat most teams."
Banbury are due to face Rugby Town at the Spencer Stadium on 10 January.
