Gainsborough Trinity drew at home for the sixth time this season as their Blue Square North clash with Solihull Moors ended 1-1 at the Northolme.
Trinity went ahead through Lewis McMahon's 64th-minute penalty after a foul on Colin Marrison.
Their lead was short-lived as Junior English equalised seven minutes later.
Trinity Manager Steve Charles told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "They're a physical side while we've got ball-players and they didn't allow us to play."
Charles felt that Gainsborough had chances to take control of the game long before they went in front.
He admitted: "You don't get many clear-cut chances and they are turning points.
"It's the story of our season, when we've got into those positions we haven't taken them as often as we should.
"I'm just disappointed that once we got our noses in front we've not defended well, and to be fair we did look a bit shaky at the back today."

McMahon, who scored his 10th goal of the season, said: "I scored 10 last season and I set myself a higher target this time around.
"I don't want to say what it is, but let's just say we're half way there."
Meanwhile chairman Peter Swann said he would be interested in signing the former Boston United striker Daryl Clare if he became available.
Speculation had linked the Rushden and Diamonds forward, 30, with a return to Lincolnshire.
Swann said that although he had made no enquiries, he felt the talk of a move for Clare was a sign of Trinity's ambitions.
"It's great that we're now linked with these players," he admitted.
"The signing of Luke Beckett has given everybody a buzz, and anybody who comes onto the market we're there to sign.
"We're not going to say no to a player of that standard coming to the club, but it will be down to finance in the end."
