Northern Ireland's Daryl Gurney lost 4-2 to England's Martin Adams in the second round of the Lakeside BDO World Championship at Frimley Green.

The Londonderry man found himself 2-0 down to the Winmau World Masters champion but fought back to draw level at 2-2 before losing the last two sets.

The 22-year-old was making his first appearance at the championships.

Gurney had defeated number 14 seed Garry Thompson in the first round on Monday night.
