Whild's side are owed 40,000 over two seasons from their main sponsors
Redditch United have said they are still waiting to receive 40,000 from their main sponsors, Thailand-based sportswear company Kool Sport.
Manager Gary Whild, who last week dismissed rumours about the club going into administration, said they are working to resolve the issue.
He told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "It is difficult because it's a large amount of money not to have received."
"For a non-league club like us it's a lot of money out of the budget."
The 40,000 promised is a two-year deal with the Blue Square North club, who recently admitted that they were having to look at cost-cutting measures due to their disappointing gates.
Whild said, while he is not directly involved in the talks with the sponsors, he understands that there are some positive signs.
It's money that you ink in at the start of the season, so it is difficult as it is a large amount to have not received

"There has been some communication as to where we stand with that, so hopefully that can be put to bed," he said.
"Obviously, for a club like ours that's a lot money that is outstanding - money that hopefully you are guaranteed in the bank from your main sponsors.
Whild admitted the situation had affected his squad-building plans for the season.
"It's money that you ink in at the start of the season, so it is difficult as it is a large amount to have not received," he said.
"It doesn't make things easy, as there are other commitments that the club has to meet, not just the players, so we could do with that money in sooner rather than later."
