AFC Telford United boss Rob Smith has no interest in signing players leaving financially-troubled Stafford Rangers.
"I'm not looking at any of them because, to be honest, they don't fit in with what we're about really," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.
If Stafford were to collapse, Telford - who have yet to play them - would see title rivals losing already-won points.
But Smith said: "We're watching things, but I expect them to play out the season so we're not considering that."
The Stafford players rejected a deal that proposed to end the payments of bonuses and halve the wages of the squad.
Some have already left the club - and manager Steve Bull quit the club on Friday too.
Smith is preparing his Telford side for Saturday's FA Trophy trip to Boston, but faces complications.
"Andy Brown is suspended and Danny Edwards is cup-tied, so we're down to the bare bones really."
