Dryden says some players might have to leave to freshen up his squad
Worcester City manager Richard Dryden is keen to strengthen his squad, but warns this could mean players leaving.
The City boss told BBC Hereford and Worcester he hopes to have one new face in before Saturday's Blue Square South home game against Chelmsford City.
"We've got a small squad so you can't go mad but if I am going to get people in then some will have to move on.
"Who I am going to move on I am not sure but there might be a new face in for Saturday," he said.
Dryden first suggested there could be changes to his squad after the 3-1 FA Trophy defeat by AFC Wimbledon.
On reflection, though, he says there was no shortage of commitment from his players and so he has held off from circulating names of available players to other clubs.
"I was very disappointed with the result, but I got home on Saturday and had a think about it on Sunday," he said.
If we can keep up the work-rate and the commitment that we had last Saturday hopefully we can pull off a surprise

"The work-rate was there and the commitment was there - I think we matched them in every department apart from the goal count.
"Again, their goals were like gifts and we've had to work hard to get a decent goal," he added.
The City manager knows that a win over the league leaders would be a major psychological boost as they prepare for the busy run-in to Christmas.
"They're not top of the league out of luck - they've got a great squad and they've got a big squad and that's why they're up there," he said.
"We'll definitely be the underdogs so we've got nothing to lose if we can organised and cut out a few errors.
"If we can keep up the work rate and the commitment that we had last Saturday hopefully we can pull off a surprise," he added.
BBC Hereford and Worcester will carry regular updates on Worcester City's progress against Chelmsford City on air and online as part of Sport on Saturday from 1400 GMT.
